The Triangle Legal Clinic offers free legal support to low-income residents of Multnomah County. The clinic is held monthly and focuses on estate planning for queer folks, legal issues facing transgender individuals, and sex workers.

During our clinic days, volunteer attorneys, paralegals, and other service providers offer free, limited-scope legal help with matters like:

  • Changing names and gender markers

  • End-of-life planning for chosen families

  • Designating medical representatives

  • Model releases and legal compliance for adult content creators

  • General business advice for sex workers

Since trans individuals and sex workers often face significant income disparities compared to the general population, we're always looking to partner with other organizations that can provide additional free services, such as mental health services, and help with criminal record relief and tenant rights issues. If you are part of an agency or willing to help with additional services, please reach out! We want to collaborate with you to serve our community.

The Triangle Legal Clinic is hosted and sponsored by Legally Bound, LLC who underwrites administrative costs. Our volunteers include law students, deal duala, and agencies and organizations that have similar goals. Melissa and Bliss from Bliss and Boge, LLC are our staff attorneys and we welcome volunteer attorneys and provide CLE approved training.
